I hate Hugh Laurie!!! For 20 years he's been on British 'telly' playing some superbly timed comic characters, writing some brilliant sketches on 'Friday Night Live' and 'A Bit of Fry & Laurie', and now he turns in a dramatic acting performance to rival James Gandolfini in 'The Sopranos'. Did you know he's also an accomplished pianist, rowed in the Oxford v Cambridge boat race (Kind of a Superbowl for oarsmen over here) and also wrote one of the finest comedy thrillers I've ever read (The Gun Seller). A book so funny I cried laughing.
Seriously, although Laurie is the best thing about
House M.D DVD Box Set, the ensemble acting is excellent and the writing, intelligent, witty & never verbose. A wonderful series, although I do agree with some other posters that each plot of
House M.D DVD Box Set seems to have the same basic premise.
