The CW is reportedly close to announcing a sixth season renewal for Supernatural DVD Box Set.

It was previously reported that show creator Eric Kripke had planned to end the series after the current fifth season, but Cinemaspy says that a renewal is imminent.

The network has yet to release an official statement about the programme's future.
